Brownie the Monkey
One day, when Hazel and her sister Olive were at the Dollar General with their mom, Hazel saw a lion lamp. Her mom said that she could buy it.
Then Olive saw a monkey that she wanted. She wanted to give it to her teacher. She put it in her backpack for the next day.
The next day, she got ready for school and she got into the car. When she got to her class, she told her teacher that she had a surprise for her.
Olive opened her backpack and gave the monkey to her teacher. Her teacher loved it. The teacher said that I can make a collar for the monkey. Her teacher said that she wanted the monkey’s name to be Brownie.
Hazel made the collar for Brownie.
